Spent 7 nights here with my family members, had a lovely stay overall. The location was nice - right by a nice Buddhist temple, great restaurants and Hiri bay. It was 4-6 minutes' walking distance from St Michael's Church.

Location: the hotel was short walk to the beach and all the local cafes, all the local cafes and Wewurukannala ancient temple. The friendly and helpful staff provided all the necessary info.

Cinnamon House in Dickwella is my go-to place. Never regretted staying here. The staff gave me a wake-up call my first stay, so thoughtful. Free Wi-Fi, parking, locker room, and 24-hour reception, everything I need. Coming back for Christmas!

Great value for money with a spacious and well-ventilated room. The location is ideal, away from touristy areas but still within a short walk to restaurants and beautiful beaches. The family who runs the hotel is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

The breakfast option could be improved by offering a wider variety of choices.

The location of this place was great! It was close to the beach and there were plenty of good restaurants nearby to enjoy. the room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing Christmas getaway. the bed was big and cozy, allowing for a good night's sleep. Another advantage was the beautiful garden, filled with tropical trees and plants, which created a peaceful and serene atmosphere.

One downside of staying here during Christmas was the noise from the temple next door. They had a whole day of mass with speeches and music playing through the microphone, which was quite loud and disturbing.

We had a fantastic stay at Cinnamon House in Dickwella. the room was beautifully clean and modern, with a unique partially outdoor bathroom that we loved. the location was perfect, just a short walk away from the stunning beach and a variety of great restaurants. the host was incredibly warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. They even treated us to delicious homemade meals and tea in the evening. It was definitely the best value accommodation in the Hiriketiya area.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment I stepped into the beautiful garden, I felt an incredible energy that made me feel right at home. The owners, Badra and Edi, are the most charming and helpful people you could ever meet. They genuinely care about their guests and go above and beyond to make you feel like family. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, and the open-air shower adds an extra touch of luxury. The garden is a true oasis of peace, filled with monkeys, iguanas, squirrels, and various birds. And let's not forget about the three lovely dogs that make you feel even more at home. The location is perfect, with Hiriketiya Beach just a 10-minute walk away and Dickwella only 20 minutes on foot. The owners are always ready to help you with anything you need, from arranging onward travel to scooter rentals and surfing lessons. They even took excellent care of me when I had a little accident. And the food! They remembered my love for tomatoes and served me tomato salad every night since I mentioned it. The dinner they offer for a small price is absolutely delicious. And in between meals, you can enjoy free tea and coffee. I can't express enough how grateful I am to have met these incredible people. If you're looking for a convenient location, friendly and helpful owners, and a truly peaceful and beautiful environment, this place is a jaw-dropping gem. Highly recommend!

stayed at a wonderful place in dickwella, but cinnamon house in hiriketiya blew my mind! clean and spacious room, welcoming family, and delicious homecooked meals. felt right at home. will definitely come back!
